The story behind

The Duc Ngo
The Duc Ngo merges laid back Californian cuisine with pan-Asian flavours, for an inventive and unconventional menu boasting fresh and colourful dishes. The Japanese-Californian inspired cuisine includes new style sashimi and cheese udon noodles, and Mexican classics with a twist such as soft tacos with beef fillet, grilled sea bream with cajun fried vegetables and guacamole with crispy tortilla chips and Japanese shachimi spices.

Exciting Partnership
Together with Micky Rosen and Alex Urseanu of Gekko Group, The Duc Ngo opened his first project outside of Berlin in July 2013: moriki. Located in the towers of Deutsche Bank, the restaurant was dubbed ‘the place to be in Frankfurt’ by The New York Times. This was followed by the joint opening of the second moriki at Roomers Baden-Baden and a year later, the Golden Phoenix in Berlin. In 2020 Burbank opened its’ doors.
